Talking to a trained professional helps us make sense of those challenging times and offers a way through them, moving towards a better understanding of ourselves and our feelings and enabling us to make the changes that we desire.
I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me with a diverse range of problems.
I hold registration with UKCP, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy reg number 00995162 and am a member of BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy membership number 186118 I hold senior accredited membership NCS the National Counselling Society .membership number NCS 21-00439.

Psychotherapy and EMDR , offer you a unique opportunity to better understand what holds you back, and importantly, enables you to take action in choosing and creating more positive directions in your life going forwards.
Making the space to look at your situation from new perspectives and learning new coping strategies is invaluable in creating better relationships with others and internally with you how feel about yourself. With approaches like EMDR it is possible to work towards changing long held beliefs that may be holding you back.
Sometimes clients feedback that they enjoy sessions and did not expect to. Even in the midst of difficulty, there can be a space for humour which can help lead to new perspectives.
I have considerable experience working with trauma and those facing health challenges and those adjusting to life with a chronic health condition or disability such as ME/CFS and supporting people to look at what is still possible and achievable.
